12′ × 15′Plot
3.66m × 4.57m
12ft × 15ft
Footprint
180 sq ft
16.7 m² per floor
Stack
3 Storey
540 sq ft total
Extremely compact. 3 bedrooms in 180 sq ft footprint only works vertically. This board solves for the given size, but for comfort in Ghana we strongly recommend scaling to 12m × 15m if land allows.
Hot-humid orientation
Long axis East-West. Round front faces North for soft light. Cross-ventilation via stair void + louvered rear. Deep 600mm overhang on curve to cut rain & sun.
- Plot allows zero side setback — build party walls.
- Stair in middle = light well + stack ventilation.
- Flat RC roof with 2% fall + waterproof membrane.

03 — Front Elevation Detail
R = 6′ • Curve Beam
Round + Triangle — two layers
Outer curve is structural RC beam following radius. Inner triangle is independent screen — steel frame with perforated aluminium or 12mm MDF with backlit plaster recess.
Structure
200×300 RC curved beam, 150mm block infill, 20mm render, deep drip groove.
Triangle
40×40 SHS frame, laser-cut 3mm Alu, 3000K LED strip in recess, dimmable.
Day: matte plaster triangle reads as shadow. Night: perforation glows, no direct glare to street. Keep triangle 150mm inset from curve face for depth.

Section
10ft viewing
Avoid west glass. Use blackout + sheer.
Mounting
Fixed slim mount, center at 1050–1100mm AFFL. Recess 40mm conduit for HDMI + power behind TV.
Acoustics
Curve behind sofa helps diffusion. Add rug + curtains. No TV on curved wall — image distortion + glare.
Power & Air
2× double socket behind credenza, 1× behind TV. Split AC high on side wall, not blowing across screen.
